So, I asked you all last week if you would like to see some Before & Afters of makeup application and a few of you said yes. Many of you don’t know that I have the added benefit of having gone to beauty school and having a strong interest in cosmetics. I really enjoy the art of applying makeup and making people look and feel like the very best version of themselves. Like photography, I am 100% self taught and loving it. I watch a lot of YouTube videos, read a lot of magazines, ask a lot of questions, but more than anything I just go with my gut instincts. They typically lead me in the right direction. Since the start of The Boudoir, I have had a few chances to do makeup for some of our beautiful ladies and I am so excited to share with you. We are learning a little as we go here, and a few times we didn’t actually get “Before” photos so I am making do with a couple of the girls’ own before photos. I know, we’re dopes. We’ll do better next time, promise!

Okay, so using Michelle before almost isn’t fair because she is so beautiful WITHOUT makeup but we’ll take what we can get. Darn Michelle and her beautiful good looks!

With Michelle, I did a beautiful smoky eye & false lashes, a nice peachy blush and complimenting bronzer, her lips have a naturally beautiful depth to them that we just accented with a very light tinted gloss. Gorgeous & glowing!
